Recipes | Anchovies in the oven filled with sesame seeds, nuts and herbs

  • 1 kg anchovies (sardines) fillet
  • 50 gr crumbled barley rusk
  • 50 gr raisins
  • 50 gr sesame seeds 50 gr pine nuts
  • 1 teaspoon tarama
  • 2 spring onions thinly sliced
  • 2 lemons
  • parsley
  • 3-4 bay leaves
  • 100 ml Virgin Sesame Oil
 
     

Pulp tarama with a small quantity of sesame oil and mix the rest of the ingredients, except from the anchovies. Take a teaspoon of the mixture and place it on the anchovy fillet and roll it. Place the roll in a baking pan and continue with the process until you fill all the fillets. Place the bay leaves between the rolls, pour the sesame oil and lemon juice. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 180o C.
